ATLANTA — Theta Xi Fraternity is excited to announce the addition Brother Matthew Lerman, Gamma Mu 272 (Montclair State ‘17) as the director of fraternity education.
In this position, Brother Lerman will be responsible for the Fraternity’s leadership development programs, educational resources, and other member development curricula. This will include the Vredenburgh Presidents Academy, Rising Stars Academy, and Newell District Leadership Academies.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Matt to his new role at Fraternity Headquarters,” says Tanner Marcantel, Theta Xi Executive Director. “His passion for undergraduate education, and helping them to develop, will strengthen our current programs and shape the next phase of member education in the Fraternity.”
Brother Lerman brings with him extensive professional knowledge of over 5 years working in higher education and college student development. He possesses strong programming and interpersonal skills, which allow him to work with Brothers from all backgrounds and perspectives. Matt has also served Theta Xi in a variety of volunteer roles including chapter advisor and facilitator Newell District Leadership Academy and as lead facilitator for the Rising Stars Academy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Montclair State University and a master’s degree in higher education/student affairs from Slippery Rock University.
Brother Lerman will begin his new role on January 30, 2023.
