Rising Stars Academy is our premier leadership academy for first-year initiates and coincides with the Presidents Academy. The Rising Stars Academy concentrates on providing attendees an opportunity to assess and develop their leadership styles and skills, in an interactive and experiential setting. Along with meeting new members from across the country, they gather ideas they can take back to strengthen their chapters in the areas of recruitment, membership education and overall operations. Team building skills are strengthened by accomplishing tasks presented on an exciting outdoor leadership challenge course.
This is a can’t miss event so identify a new initiate who you feel is your emerging leader and make plans to get him to Rising Stars Academy today! Except for a $50 registration fee paid by the participant, Theta Xi Foundation provides a full scholarship for ONE member from each chapter to attend the Academy - TWO members for All True Men chapters. (Additional attendees are charged a reasonable tuition.) Tuition covers all on-site costs at the Academy but travel to and from St. Louis is the responsibility of the member. Many chapters and/or their alumni association help cover travel costs and tuition for additional attendees.

TUITION: Tuition includes all on-site lodging and food costs. The first attendee from each chapter (first two for ATM chapters) receives a scholarship for tuition (see below). Tuition for additional members is $495.00.
SCHOLARSHIPS: After a $50 registration fee (paid by the participant), Theta Xi Foundation provides a full scholarship for the first Rising Star Attendee from each chapter. (Theta Xi Fraternity pays for the 2nd attendee from the ATM chapters.)
TRAVEL: Make your travel arrangements as soon as possible. The travel cost to attend the Academy is the individual responsibility of each member or his chapter/colony. Brothers can seek chapter support for travel or approach their Alumni Association for travel assistance. Alumni Associations can request funds from their Chapter Education Account (if one exists) to reduce travel expenses using the Academies Grant Request.
You MUST be in St. Louis by 11:00 am on Friday, January 13th, 2017. Buses will depart shortly thereafter. Plan to depart AFTER 4:00 pm on Monday, January 16th.
Please book travel arrangements to arrive and depart with plenty of time to account for weather conditions, transfer from the airport to and from the registration hotel, etc.
