Theta Xi is looking for men who want to continue their commitment to being leaders in the fraternity community after graduation. A great way to do that is through serving as a Consultant for Theta Xi. Each year, Theta Xi employs a staff of consultants who assist in mentoring and developing chapters and colonies through education and peer-to-peer engagement.
What does a Consultant do?
There are two different types of Consultants.
Leadership Consultant: As a Leadership Consultant, you will travel to chapters within a respective region, spending 2-3 days at each chapter visiting with the chapter, chapter leadership, local alumni, and campus fraternity/sorority advisors. As a Leadership Consultant, you will be trained by headquarters staff and industry partners in the areas of Chapter Operations, Risk Management, Recruitment, Scholarship, and Ritual. Throughout your visits, you will be responsible for assessing, advising, and working with chapters in establishing benchmarks, goals, and regular lines of communication in order to strengthen the Theta Xi experience.
Colony Development Consultant: As a Colony Development Consultant, you will work primarily with the colonization process for new and developing colony groups. You will have the opportunity to live at the host College/University while you engage and establish the new colony. As a Colony Development Consultant, you will be trained by headquarters staff and industry partners in the areas of Recruitment, Alumni Engagement, Chapter Operations, and Ritual. Throughout your time at the host institution you will be responsible for implementing all Colony, Associate Member, and Member Education programs.
