Weldon to join staff as Consultant

Fraternity Headquarters will welcome our second consultant, Lukas Weldon, Kappa 1064, to the staff this summer. Brother Weldon  recently graduated from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a degree in electrical engineering and minors in robotics and Spanish. During his time at Rose, he has been highly involved in Theta Xi serving as chapter president, 4 terms as senior house manager, and 4 terms on the Interfraternity Council.

Executive Director Tanner Marcantel states, “We are excited to have Lukas join our staff.  His fraternity experience and engineering background will provide him great perspective as he assists chapters and colonies to refine their operations and programs.”

Kappa advisor, Dr. Zachariah Chambers, K982, added,"Luke has been very active at Kappa and is a genuinely caring and compassionate brother. I think his calm and introspective attitude will serve him well."

Brother Weldon has represented Kappa Chapter at both the Rising Stars Academy and at the 150th Anniversary Convention in Troy, NY.

Lukas will begin his employment at Fraternity Headquarters on June 15, 2016.
 


Thibodeaux to join staff as Consultant

Fraternity Headquarters is excited to announce that Alek Thibodeaux, Alpha Omicron 1096, will join the staff as a leadership consultant for the 2016-17 year. Brother Thibodeaux will graduate this May from University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in political science. During his time at ULL, he has been highly involved in Theta Xi serving as chapter president for two terms, vice president, parliamentarian, and philanthropy chairman. Alek also works with many charities and fundraisers in the Lafayette area benefiting Habitat for Humanity, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Relay for Life.

Executive Director Tanner Marcantel states, “We are fortunate to have such a highly recommended brother join our staff to provide chapters and colonies with resources and services. Brother Thibodeaux has a wealth of knowledge to share with our membership, and I look forward to seeing the impact he will have on our fraternity.”

Brother Thibodeaux is also no stranger to the national fraternity, having served as a peer facilitator at the Vredenburgh Presidents Academy and as a delegate to the 150th Anniversary Convention in Troy, NY.

Alek will begin his employment at Fraternity Headquarters on June 15, 2016.
