Virtual Convention Schedule:
The 156th Anniversary Convention will include opportunities for delegates to participate in the governance of the Fraternity, attend educational workshops, and exchange ideas to better their chapter, colony, association, or club. Attendees will leave with a better appreciation for the governance of the Fraternity, educational materials to improve their chapter or association, and a sense of pride on Theta Xi. The 156th Anniversary Convention serves as the Supreme Authority for Theta Xi Fraternity. Convention delegates will vote on important matters proposed by the Grand Lodge. Three legislative motions to change the National Constitution & Bylaws will be presented AND the election of the 2020-2022 Grand Lodge will be conducted. Grand Lodge Undergraduate Director Candidate Information:
Undergraduates In addition to the director nad officer seats on the Grand Lodge, convention delegates shall also elect 2 undergraduate directors. Undergraduates who are interested in running for election to the Grand Lodge must complete an application form indicating their interest. Applications must be complete and received no later than Tuesday, June 30, 2020 to be included in the Delegate materials at the convention. Alumni Proxy Voting:
Chartered Alumni Associations and Alumni Clubs in good standing are allowed to designate a delegate in place of the president of their respective association or club. If the president is unable to attend, he may designate a proxy. A proxy form is required to designate alumni association or club votes to delegate other than the president.
